How will NASA bring home the Pieces of Mars? Here is how. 

The scientist who has been studying Mars have wanted to be able to piece of Red planet here on the earth for very many years. They are on the last stages of getting their shot at being able to design the mission to have such souvenirs. The legacy of the Apollo program of carefully collecting the moon rocks here on the Earth reshaped science of moon as well as Earth alike. The Mars sample return mission will be able to offer the same potential but Red Planet is quiet a daunting target than moon. 

More intensive but worth effort, Brian Muirhead, who is the head of this effort to be able to grow the Mars sample return mission at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory located in California, told in a presentation that was at International Astronautical Congress. Muirhead detailed that, it is a consensus of the science community today. He went on to add that they are going to give answers to some of the hardest questions about the Mars, for instance, if life showed up on the Mars, they are going to have to bring materials from the Mars to the terrestrial laboratories. Planning the mission to be able to bring samples back is quite a challenge, one that the NASA agency intends to be able to tackle in collaboration with European Agency. 

Muirhead said that such a process is interrelated and that everything was connected to everything in some way. There are many hosts of the Spacecraft component: the Mars 2020 rover to easily select samples, ‘fetch rover’ to be able to pick up the samples, the rocket to be able to launch them off Red planet, the capsule to be able to land them back to Earth.  The Mars 2020 will leave next summer as well as head towards Jezero crater for 2021 February landing. 

It is going to do its own research as well as stashing away the intriguing rocks for its successor. This mission could be able to launch in the year 2026. Mission’s early days will be typical for the Red Platform mission. One of the major challenges of this mission is for the spacecraft engineers to be able to land extra weight on the Mars than the previous missions that are done. This is going to stretch out any anxiety-inducing landing process, which does haunt Mars Spacecraft personnel, as vehicle risks crashing into surface. Once the Spacecraft gets to land, it will be able to deploy fetch rover, that will be able to drive out to be able to collect sample containers, the Mars 2020has carefully prepared.
